My name is Santiago Alvarez.

I am a Graphic Designer (and a bunch of other stuff too), looking to make fun, expressive, and efficient designs that don’t slow you down.

I’ve been doing graphical work since high school, were I primarily experimented in 3D. Once in the University of Texas at Dallas’ Arts Humanities and Technology program, I shifted my focus to more traditional 2D work (while still doing a bunch of 3D on the side).

Although most of my formal education has revolved around graphic design, I’m always looking for new avenues to learn in, with my primary motivator for taking on new projects being to learn something I didn’t know before.

My favorite thing to do is smash together different mediums to make something fun, as I have found that nowadays too many things have become a little too predictable.
